The review written in Chinese is in here. I try to write another review in English. Note: this article is not a translation.
( book's basic information )
Since I read others' Blogs, I've found many interesting books. Usually, I reserve the books in the library. The best resources in NCTU are the library and the network. If you don't take advantage of these, you only get half function of NCTU. The other half, of course, is your own reason why come to NCTU, such as professors, diplomas.
This book explains that there is a wonderful self-recovery mechanism in our human body. If we maintain enough power, i.e. the blood(血氣), we wouldn't be in sick, or we could be healthy back quickly. What we need to do is just keep getting up early and going to bed early. Therefore, our body has enough time to make blood. Also, we can massage some acupuncture points to assist the process of making blood.
The book also mentions some interesting view, for example, exercises is helpful only when we keep getting up early and going to bed early. Exercise only consumes the power of our body. If we don't have regular and sufficient sleeping, exercise would make us ill.
The other interesting view is that if we are not sick, maybe we are too weak to be sick. Being sick requires energy. If you find that you are not sick during working days, but being sick as soon as you take a rest. You may be weaker than your expectation. The author advices that you should take a long rest to be sick for a long while. Dump all your illness.
This book is easy to read, it just explains the simple thought of being healthy. Fast scan and skim the content, and you could be more healthy than before.
ps. I found that my article in English is somewhat acrimonious, like my old writing style in Chinese. It's fun to find this characteristic. This means that my essential thought is still not at golden mean
