When we were children, we were on the road which our parents had set up. Sometimes the road is similar to others, or we can call it the road of the expectation of the society, for example, having a master or doctor degree.
When we grew up, we found there were many other choices; we didn't need to compete with the others in the narrow road. We can live with more happiness and chase what we would like to be. However, when we are closing the society, we realize that finding what we like is really hard. Sometimes living on the original road is easier and we can suffer fewer pains.
For me, I had made a decision that I wanted to live easier when I graduated from the junior high school. I chose to study in the classes not in sciences, although I was good at mathematics and sciences. I thought I needed think harder if I would study in scientific areas. However, this lazy decision was changed after entering the senior high school with a half of year.
In the beginning, I just wanted to learn how to fix my computer because I liked to play games in computer. So I joined a weird club. The senior student thought what I'd like to learn is a piece of cake, and he taught me programming by a very difficult book. The preface of that book says: this is a book for those who have learned this programming language, that is, programmers. And you know, I was a beginner who had even never learned the computer.
This was my turning point of life. After passing a lot of frustrations, I decided to stay in this area in my following life. Therefore, I studied computers continuously in my senior high schools and entered the department of the computer science without many obstructions. However, the new challenges had silently come, and I didn't notice them. I childishly thought as long as I am interested in computer science, I can still live smoothly in this area. The really big dilemma came when I was having the undergraduate degree. The dilemma was to decide to be a scientist or an engineering. That was another long story.
